The Gameplay

Once the game gets started, the player sees a group of islands connected by hanging bridges and surrounded by the sea, and SpongeBob SquarePants settled down ashore there in the far-off lands. His mission is to visit each island hosting other characters, and pick up the items found there to fill the empty stock before time runs out. At the bottom of the screen, one can find a board containing hints on what items are missing in the stock. When SpongeBob gets hold of a necessary thing, there appears a funny popup with one of the game characters encouraging the player to keep up the good work.

When time runs out or if the player collects all the necessary items, the volcano rising on the central island erupts and hits the screen with slime, and then comes the instruction to swipe it. After wiping the slime away, one can choose to play again. The game end popup informs the player about the score.

Users can choose between easy and hard difficulty settings, which differ by the risk level. Within the easy level, SpongeBob moves safely across an island area, as he is unable to fall down from a shore or a bridge into the sea, while choosing the hard level, one is to control the character’s movement direction by himself or herself. In case SpongeBob falls down into the sea, the screen gets flooded with water.
